Lock and Leap is a short but challenging 2D platformer where you collect colored keys to unlock their respective blocks. It's (hopefully) more exciting than it sounds. I don't know what else to write here, so... Below me is a list of things in the game!!!!!!!!

List of things in the game.

  1. 21 different levels. That's like, more than Candy Crush, I think.
  2. Several different stage gimmicks and hazards are introduced every 3-4 levels. Such as Bounce pads, Portals. and more!
  3. 20 unlockable hats that you can wear... They don't do anything, but they are cute so it's okay :)
  4. Every level contains a Blue Coin that is (usually) hidden in a very hard or tricky spot. Can you get them all?
  5. You play as a funny blob guy. That alone is the main reason you should play this.

And yeah, that's it. play it if you want too. This game is meant to be really hard, so I do not recommend that you play this if you don't like hard games. If you play this and find any bugs, or if you have any suggestions and/or criticisms, then please tell me them in the comments. But yeah, bye.

Note: This game does not save data in any way. Just letting you know.

can you add a level editor and 2 player mode (i know that this is made in scratch and can take a long time to add)

(1 edit)

I might see if I'm able to add a level editor in a later update. No promises though. As for a 2-player mode. I don't think that would really fit the game, so I probably won't add that. Thank you for the suggestions though!

infuriating. died 4 times in lvl 1, then 16 times in level 2 and then i was done with it. first two levels that say easy. maybe im not the target audience, but ramp up feels like insta master mode only. otherwise i can say good controls felt responsive

I agree. I think what happened is that I got too good at my own levels and didn't realize how some of them (especially a few of the early ones) are wayyyyy to hard. The game is meant to be very difficult, but I don't think I really conveyed that well enough in the description, so my bad. I'll probably add an easy mode to the game if I decide to make an update. Thank you for commenting, apologies for the frustration.
